This bulletin provides information relating to the replacement of the front
coil springs due to possible
corrosion in 2006 Kia Sedona vehicles produced from December 20, 2005 to
March 20, 2006 that
are currently registered in the states where heavy road salt is used. Over
time, exposure to water
and road salt may reduce the effectiveness of the coil’s protective coating
thereby resulting in
corrosion of the coil springs. Owners of these vehicles currently registered
in the 21 states which
are known to use heavy amounts of road salt are being notified to schedule
an appointment with the
nearest Kia dealer to have both front springs replaced with improved ones.
