Iridium Spark Plugs 95-100K

Platinum Spark Plugs 60K


Spark Plug Wires

Inspectional interval:

Spark Plug Wires should be inspected every 60,000 and 100,000 miles.

 

1. If I ignore it?

  • Poor fuel economy
  • Rough idling and poor acceleration
  • Arcing or weak spark may cause poor performance
  • Damage to the catalytic converter from unburned fuel
  • Expensive catalytic converter replacement may result
  • Could flunk an “Emissions Test”
  • “Check Engine” light may come on

Technology Fact:

Most new models no longer use Spark Plug Wires and instead use plug top coils which are more reliable.
